Glad about the demo but i hate all this "season pass" crap, every game seems to be having these now! Why have to pay 2400 MSP just to get a slight discount on all future DLC!? why cant they just reduce the pric of DLC and please everybody??



Most of the DLC for F4 is bound to be pointless car packs anyway!

^^I can't agree more, and in 'group' gatherings such as the TTC's you started all those years ago mate then even more pointless and undervalued.

The biggest reason I didn't buy more cars in FM3 is because for 2 decent cars, I got 4 pants ones! When the price dropped I'm glad I didn't upgrade to the ultimate edition too, as otherwise the new Top Gear track I'll enjoy I'd have driven already. Tracks are far more important to me than cars - even more so when you've 600 or so in the std game. I'd go as far to say that offering DLC to charge, in the first month of release basically just missed the DVD reproduction and should be free to anyone.



On a positive note I could conclude that, for not buying all the DLC for F3 - it's already paid for all the DLC for Forza 4 and half the game!! I just hope they offer a free 'taster' for each pack, then I'll make sure I bag every one of em.

"well i played what i guess will be the demo at eurogamer yesterday!


there where 3 cars to choose from and one track.

the cars were some american muscle Pontiac ,a Subaru impreza and a Ferrari 599. the track was new pretty big with a tecnical section a few long strait's and a couple of hairpins.

the car handling seemed really nice you can push the car into the corner and really feel the tyres as they start to lose grip on the road surface and you can gather up a drift a bit easier than forza3

also the AI seemed better at defending the racing line.

well that's what i made of my 15 mins with forza 4 yesterday

and i now cant wait for next month and i get my hands on the full game"

I'll be at work, the plan is to pop home at dinner and set the box downloading! I really shouldn't download it, coz in Forza alone I have quite a few tasks to sort. Obviously F1 too, and I need to take a look at the DiRT WRC too and see what state it is in now.

I'm off work tomorrow to spend time with the GF and extend our tenancy agreement in the flat but we wont be going out til around 11-11:30 so should be able to have a quick go beforehand!

It's out now on torrents, but you have to fart about with usb sticks and all that bs. Nevermind, it should be out tomorrow morning for us all to have a go with.

really looking forward to trying this out,don't think i'll be buying the DLC though,season pass seems to be getting more common now,with so many games coming out and so much DLC that should have been in the game to start with,makes it £80 per game nearly,not so bad if its a really great game with great DLC,unlike Dirt 3
