just found out that loads of people have the unicorn achievement from porting over there forza 3 profile,most haven't played as much as myself,or reached as high level,how do they work this out,it has to be random

It all depended which cars you had in your FM3 garage at the time you first launched FM4.

There were only 2 or 3 which granted you a FM4 unicorn and none were the cars you got for levelling - if you can find it I believe I posted a link up in here with a definitive list to the specific cars required. If you're that desperate for the acheivo, you should be able to delete all your FM4 save files, acquire the cars in FM3 then relaunch FM4 and it will port over again. Naturally you'll lose everything you've already achieved in FM4 except your leaderboard times.

DB I woudln't worry, I'm not an expert on this as Chaz knows more about it - but the unicorns I believe were special cars that you could only get at certain times in the auction house. The Impreza S204 I reckon was one. I never bought cars in auction, so there was never a chance I could get this.

I'll let it slide tbh, I'm not that interested in red herrings, I'll unlock what I unlock and that's that. Good luck if you do decide to find and buy a very rare unicorn. I'm not that patient!

Dave it a peace of cake to sort out mate i did it al level 41.

Here is the guide i used and its dead simple :) i saved my profile to a memory stick,deleted it from hard disc ,loaded forza3 bought vip,bought car in guide,saved game,restart4 ,get achievo,delete new 4 game and reload old 4 game back from memory stick to hard drive job done

Ok this guide is only for people who have got Forza Motorsport 3 and own the VIP pack in Forza 3. I should also note that this guide is for people just starting to play forza 4 for the first time as you have to transfer your profile from forza 3 which you get a chance to do at the start of the game after completeing the first race.
(An alternative is you could try to start a new save in forza 4 of another storeage device. e.g a USB stick but i dont know if that works). BTW The VIP pack in Forza 3 is 800msp and includes these cars ‘08 Aston Martin DBS, ‘09 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 ‘07 Ferrari F430 Scuderia, ‘07 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, and ‘07 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997).So what you do is load up forza 3 and buy either the
07 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, or the
‘07 Ferrari F430 Scuderia,once you have done this start up the game Forza 4 complete your first race after you have done that it will ask you if you want to import your profile from Forza 3 say yes and you will get the Unicorn Hunter achievement.
The reason for this is because the 07 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera,and the ‘07 Ferrari F430 Scuderia,are both `Unicorn cars in Forza Motorsport 4 and you have just imported them from your forza 3 profile.
Yes at the end of the day you have to buy an achievement onless of course you already own the VIP pack in forza 3.
Just to be clear i am Not telling people to buy the V.I.P pack in forza 3 `This is just a suggestion.Unicorn cars as everyone knows go for crazy credits in the Auction house so you are not guarantee`d to win one so that is why i wrote this guide.
