Sadly I am refusing to support Steam, it's painfully slow on my connection and I also don't have unlimited BB so if PC Devs think this is the future, in my house they are sadly mistaken.
The game has a website which details a few cars and limited number of tracks. The rest will be pay to drive via DLC.
Assetto Corsa and RFactor 2 appeal to me much more, so I won't be running this game regardless sadly.
Assetto Corsa will launch before Xmas, RF2 is still heavily into testing and they don't rush out crap work either, so when I last checked last week I still could not find a confirmed release date for RF2.
When RF2 does launch, I would imagine that lots of ppl will use it's new engine and DX11 gfx by licencing from Image Space and building new games around it.
The dev community are already busy building or moving projects in readiness for it's release.
Raceroom does look a decent attempt though. I would bet a very large sum that it's GFX and Physics will be easily surpassed by RF2 though. I will really be choosey on what games I invest in to install on my SSD's.
