| Confirmed as coming this fall! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] This is the way I think both consoles will go. Basically PC architecture, x86 Processor(same as a PC) 8GB of DDR5 system RAM 8-Core CPU! Bungie are on board now, and we should see easy transition from PC to PS4, because they have learned lessons from the awkward nature of devs programming for PS3. PS3 will continue to get titles, which will launch side by side. A huge list of Studio's have already been named as developing for PS4. Final Fantasy is coming, as is Bungie's new game, which will get specific content on PS4. Sticking my neck out, based on PC architecture, base console price will be £399 for a guess. They always take a hit on Hardware at launch. My guess is that Sony WILL launch before MS drop the 720 on us. Pure speculation, the PS4 is vital to turn around Sony's financial losses. I'll create a new section for this stuff, so that the 720 can exist in the same area too. I'll be there on day of release. No mention of the new GT title though. | Nope, just some "Drivers Club" rubbish.
Liked what I saw though, keen to see what MS will bring to the table |

| It'll just be nice to have proper 1080 gaming on consoles. Some dev's are happy that for the first time, they'll have the power to produce titles that have been shelved for many years. I'm not sure why dev's would see the need to sit on any projects, when the PC has been doing full 1080 games for a considerable time. If they had done PC versions, they would now have an easy task of cross-conversion with the odd new level thrown in. I just hope the PS4 has at least 50% more power, with the CPU and GFX. I also hope GT6 is a launch title, I can't see Sony allowing it not to be. Even if they release an initial GT Full HD and then turn it into a full game within 6 months, as there may not be enough time to do a full GT6 for the fall. That said, apart from final specs, I'm sure Kaz has something resembling a rev kit at PD... :) |

| I'm delaying my pre-order hoping that Tesco will do them. If so I should be able to order more than one and offer them at less than RRP.
There is actually a couple of games that take my fancy too!
I wasn't too fussed about the car game either, but with it being from the Motorstorm gang, the gfx and physics should be decent too.
They were also the team, that for 5 years did the WRC stuff on PS2 |

| I agree with D.B - that Japanese guy did say the stuff was being run in real time, so I think they have a fair idea on how many polygons it's going to put out. But that's not the same as game-code running with all the overheads in full swing. But exciting times ahead!! LOL @ Chris, I know! I like the look of the Destiny thang, plus Watchdogs too. I think Watchdogs could be a little less in my face compared to a Bungie title!! Roll on E3! Come on Kaz, you can do it!! |
