The TTC's will continue mate, I only hope that Autumn/Winter gets more ppl back involved in driving. I'm still worried about the numbers involved, or not as the case may be. It wouldn't take a huge blip for us to be running less than 6 cars in Forza 4 TTC's - which would be, well, terrible on a personal level. I'm hoping for our online stuff to kick off when F4 lands too.
There were genuine reasons this couldn't get off the ground before, and these things happen. When Forza 4 lands I hope speedfreaks can move up a gear with such an amazing new game. I've also never said the following, but I also want to introduce a new offline side to Forza 4 as well. So it would not interfere with the TTC's or online fun here. But more on that in the future. No doubts, Forza 4 will be amazing, there will be much DLC when it first lands, plus the torrent of bugs, issues, etc, etc.
I've booked leave for next week, ready for F1. I really don't wanna delay getting that F1 Series up asap. I already know what I wanna do, so I going to be gunning for that. I also have the 2011 F1 Series "Teaser" all figured out. I did it all with F1-2010. It took hours, so all I have to do is shoot the exact same footage in 2001. Which I can do easily whilst I'm off. But since upgrading to my super-cool new Camcorder it'll go full HD and of course feature the all important 2011 cars/models and liveries!!
I'm gonna have to start the task of converting paint jobs to groups for certain cars too. Forza 4 won't sadly allow a full livery/design to be carried over. But 'groups' it will allow. I hope to god there aren't restrictions! Whilst some of the stuff does exist in groups, to load each one by hand and place them all would be very time-consuming. But at least they can go across from 3 to 4 - happy days!
If the Turn 10 hype is 100% true, with regards to more detail in cars and IBL, then the cars from old TTC's will look even better. On models that are more tailored to replicating the looks of the old classics. I'll be excited to see what DG's/Turn 10's comments meant when he talked about period features for old cars in Forza 4.
I'm excited about the new cars I've not driven via FM3 DLC that I'll get for "free" in Forza 4. Grumpert Apollo, Citroen DS3 (no prizes for guessing what'll happen to that car 2-lemons), 3 Door Sierra Cosworth etc. Plus the new stuff such as the 2010 Impreza (what a gr8 shame I couldn't see that in Rally trim due to Subaru pulling out of Rallying) and stuff like the new 3 door Escort Cosworth!!
I've also got a stack of cars to finish painting (some are 90% done) and others that are done and not set-up yet. So we've many new cars to come to the TTC's, which I'm excited about. That's not to mention the new tracks too! Top Gear yayyyy! Infineon, etc! Some exciting few weeks ahead!
